I find I'm out of shaving cream/gel. None in any bathroom. Scramble to find something to avoid "dry shaving". End up using my daughter's hair conditioner. Figured it's better than soap. I was surprised. It worked pretty well.

Lots of talk about this! Very surprising to me, but I do believe you have found the ideal alternative or possibly even best substitute for shaving cream. I've used conditioner on more than one occasion and absolutely love the results... soft and smooth!
