I made a non-stop drive to Rapid City, SD 2 weeks ago in 18 hours and then 2 days there and then back to Tennessee again. It was a fun trip with no issues... car ran great.

To prove I am glutton for punishment (OK, I miss my wife and kids), I am driving the same trip tonight. Should be to Rapid by noon tomorrow. Just need to complete my second oil change in 2 weeks. Got to meet up with a great Pelican up in Sioux Falls last trip. I will have to get back home by Sunday evening, so my plan is to be in the KC area around lunchtime on Sunday, 12/1. ANyKC Pelicans want to get together for lunch. I would be coming through KC on the 29/435/70 route and would prefer to meet up somewhere off I-70 heading west out of town if possible. If interested, email me and I will check it before I leave Rapid on Saturday.

Also, would love to meet ome Rapid City Pelicans if they have not all flown south for the winter yet. Maybe get together Friday or Saturday morning for b-fast?

Oh, my 14yo son will be with me on the way back to Rapid.
