When I was a kid, we rebuilt wheel cylinders & master cylinders but we always honed the cylinder bore first for a good seal. This was on early 50's American cars & the cylinders were made of cast iron. Is honing not necessary on 928's? I ask about the honing process because during this winter, I plan on a complete brake over haul. Thank you all from a newbie 928er for a really great informative forum!
