I'm in the exact same situation. Have an 06 4runner (V8 limited) with 30k miles and lease is up in Jan. Toyota will not negotiate on buy out price. My gut reaction is to say screw you, take it back then - BUT, I love the truck, and I need an SUV or something w/ reasonable cargo capacity. It's my dd most of the time and I can't find any similar trucks for sale that are less or even with my buyout price, but it nags me that I can't get a better deal...
Still haven't decided what to do. I have a st bernard so I need something reasonably big!
