Ok guy's, finally getting around to the roof now that the cold weather has set in. I have gotten a few more estimates and here is the latest deal.
The pitch is 12/12 which is somewhat steep , I have a total of three new estimates right now in addition to the first one I got back in March. Here is the rub, these guys have figured the roof at between 60 and 65 squares not like the first guy. They all include tear off / haul off, new 30 pound felt, new drip edge, ridge cap and 30 year shingles. Prices range from 14.5 to 15.5 K on all three.
This sure is expensive, and the times for these guys are really slow around here, not much building going on with the econ the way it is.
I guess I will bite the bullet after I get one more esitmate from Lowes that I am waiting on.
