I've had the Blizzaks with the Multicell compound, and Dunlop M2's & M3's (latter are significantly better).
The Dunlops are significantly better handling and in the wet, and moderately worse in the snow & ice. If you live in Minnesota out in the boonies, where is mostly the latter, the Blizzaks are worth it, otherwise the M3's are a good compromise. Blizzaks have "incredible" snow traction, where the Dunlops I'd categorize as "good"
I've been suprisingly happy with my Hankook winter I-Pikes for the price as well.
