Flash, I know your accomplished, but have you lived in the snow belt outside of CA? Just curious.
My 944 was amazing in the snow. It tracked straighter, braked straighter and handled better than most anything I've ever driven in the snow. A subaru with snows is better, but more like cheating. :-)
Once there was a nasty ice storm and there were cars in ditches all over, I was still doing 60 with zero problems, until it overheated from the car being covered in 1" of ice and not getting air.
