Many thanks again guys, for all your kind comments about my Excellence story and the CTR.
m110: The headlight units are H4, the Ruf guys asked me if I wanted the more curved headlight glass that flows with the top fender line, so they fitted what they call "beetle" glass. It has a negative impact on front end lighting.
nine9six: I'm afraid my 20-year old daughter has first dibs on the CTR. She was first hooked after being given a ride in Yellowbird when we visited the Ruf factory in 2003..., 300 km/h on the secondary roads around the factory. She was thrilled and I was wondering if I had done the right thing by strapping my only child into the passenger's seat with the very talented H.-P. Lieb driving. A great day for father and daughter. Little did I know that a CTR would be in my garage 3 years later.
