The food bowl on the floor is for the Welsh, the Airedale eats in the other room. Her bowl is up on a stool. They get along great except when being feed and then they try to stake out their territory.
The Welsh and the Airedale have the same temperament but I think the Welsh is part Mountain Goat, she loves to climb over everything. We found her on the computer desk one afternoon. This picture was taken just after we adopted her so she had the scruffy look going.
All in all if you love the Airedale you will enjoy the Welsh as well, don’t let her size fool you she needs as much exercise (if not more) than the Airedale.
