U-Verse recently became available in my neighborhood. My wife and I were interested in it because of the Internet. We currently have both directv and comcast cable. We have the directv for the tv portion of things and we have comcast cable because it gets us cheaper cable modem services.
We brought the U-Verse into our house because we were tired of the comcast cable internet gouging. Doing back to back testing, same computer, same position, wireless connection, the U-Verse proved to be twice as fast as comcast and about 1/2 the price.
The TV portion of U-Verse is terrible.
