Very funny.

However, If they double the price of those things, it could, just maybe, happen.
I'm one of the dumbasses driving the SUV (Yukon XL). Fact is I bought it for hauling things (boats, trailers, 5 gallon water bottles, 400 lb Bouviere Des Flandres) , but it's big, comfortable, and safe so we like it for normal use when gas is cheap. I just tossed on some winter tires and it's unstoppable, fun even, in the 12 FRIGGIN inches of snow we've had so far!

I was pleased to see that it's actually a pretty well made vehicle and fairly easy to work on. It's hard to describe the joy of maxing out an empty tank for under 50 bucks ($1.63.99 last tank).
That joy is only bested by filling up the new Honda Fit. Fifteen bucks and good to go! I'll burn gas now while it's cheap, but I'm covered for the inevitable increase.
