Apparently some don't. I understand that kids will be kids, but whatever happened to manners and civility? I wasn't allowed a free for all when visiting along with my parents, nor were my children when visiting along with us. It's part of the grooming process. Yeah, no fun watching chickens (wtf??) running around and having to sit there and shut up while the parents sip tea, but that's what growing up is all about - learning how to behave.
