Yeah, my 8 year old is pretty well behaved.
The boy, 5, he is another story.
He will contradict you for no other reason than to contradict.
We could be backing out of the driveway and he'll say "you're going the wrong way". I say you don't even know where we are going, he responds "you're going the wrong way."
Grounding does not work, time outs do not work, a swat on the ass does not work. Even depriving him of stuff he loves, does not work. He just shrugs it off and says "OK".
He is a manipulative, conniving little spawn of Satan.
Good thing he is cute. It's the only thing keeping me from killing him.
