Years ago, used my KZ 750 to commute 40 mile rounds trip one Jan for a few weeks while my car was down. Wore ski bibs. Down jacket, with a few layers under it. Throat Coat attached to my full face. Heavy ski gloves. Was actually remarkably warm. If it rained i tossed a Dri Rider suit over everything. As long as there wasn no snow or ice on the road I was ok
That was 25 yrs ago. With the advancement in clothing today. things have gotten much better.
