i hate crock pots. they take up too much storage space.
plus for stews, the veggies are mush when the meat is tender. it still takes a two pronged attack to make a great stew. (roast veggies separate, and put them in later). i guess i am not skilled in the tool.
personally, i use my enameled dutch oven in my regular oven and achieve the same thing. i cranked out an osso bucco the other night that was rockin!
