Gumba, I hope I'm not being picky but.....The reason they are K2 is that means Kremer2. kremer had a lot to do with the K2 race car design and DP was hired to build the new panels for Kremers race cars. The car is generally attributed to DP, in error, over the recent years as they were the most recognizable. However the originals were Porsche Kremer 935s. DP Motorsports commercialized it with the later "mass production" versions compared to the few ( the original cars of this design) all be it, mostly competition " Porsche Kremer" 935s. .
