2 C chix broth, can put in half onion soup mix to taste
1 t parsley
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1/2 t basil
diced potatoes, or frozen hash browns if you are more lazy than cheap, put in plenty, keep in mind it will cook down some even though it has a lid
1/2 chopped onion
cook 3 hours on high( I have done it on low all day)
mix in
1 1/4 C cream or half and half
1/4 cup flour
cook on high 30 min
serve with shredded cheese, personally I prefer cheddar. Swiss has nice flavor, but is too stringy, so the consistency is wrong, crumbled bacon bits, chopped chives or green onions, whatever crap you like on baked potato essentially, just the ticket if you are wanting some carbs on a cold day
