had a 944 Turbo....that thing was an absolute nightmare on snow/ice. ...even with Blizzaks.
However, I did drive my '67 912 for an entire winter as my DD. the narrow wheels, good balance, and lower power were awesome in the snow. I had no problems barreling through Northern Indiana snow.
