Turbo Type 4 Article
Hello .... I just wanted to alert the group to an article in the June 2002 issue of Excellence. The article details a very nice restoration of a 914-4. The engine is of course a Type 4, and pretty much the same as in our 912E. The engine was converted to a turbo donated from a 924 turbo. I know there have been numerous pro and con threads regarding this topic and the purpose of this note is only to say I thought the guy did a great job and I enjoyed reading the article. The engine in my car is stock and running well, but someday, when the time is right I would like to make it a 'Special Performer' .... Rich G.
