30 was an easy b-day for me. I got interested in real estate when I was 25 and had a goal of owning my first house by my 26th b-day. I was two weeks late on that one. In my mid-20's I wanted to get around to running a marathon. I stopped after the seventh one, which was the NYC Marathon when I was 29. I never had a deadline for marriage and wasn't sure if I wanted to do it at all. I figured it was one of those things that should not be on a deadline and I'd do it when I found the right woman. I was 36 when I did it. I've always done a lot of travelling, but there are still some places on my list. No deadlines though. I'm 37 and not worried at all about 40. I've had a better, more fulfulling 37 years than a lot of folks have in 75 or 80.
