I once filled a cable-free Cox model plane with a gasoline/gunpowder charge and a two-minute jet-X fuse. Short but memorable flight. What fun!

A yearly event at my house every 4th of July was blowing up all of the model cars I had made over the last year.

I had a bunch of bigwheels which I typically destroyed by skidding with the front wheel and jumping off of my porch. I had multiple tubs of Hot Wheels, lots of Micro Machines, and all the associated buildings, tracks, etc. I had slot cars that I typically burned up, and radio control cars that I would destroy by stripping the gearbox gears (they do neat 180s). I think I see a theme here......
