The new cars get really good mpg in relation to HP/weight/performance. They are very aerodynamic and have very low drag from rolling resistance w/ 44 psi in the rear tires. My 996 is like a soap box derby car, I put it in neutral and I swear it speeds up sometimes. It rolls for blocks w/o slowing down much.
I'd love an '09 911S w/ direct injection and almost 400 hp. They just keep getting better, no one else has ever made a supercar that's a great daily driver.
