An anchor (12.5lb type) only the line was floating. And a coconut. Over the years I've found a dingy, a mast from a sailboat. several coolers, all kinds of pool toys (noodles, rafts, etc). Probably the strangest was a 19 year old dude that fell off his kayak about 3 years ago.... He was grateful.
Nothing would surprise me floating around in Tampa Bay. My college roommate's parents live in Apollo Beach. A bunch of us went out to "Paradise Island" one night and had a horrific storm come blowing in. It was quite the adventure. We're all lucky that we weren't floating out in the bay.

Wow, the guy had been waiting for someone to pick him up for 3 years? I'm surprised he could doggie paddle that long. He must have been very pruney and had some serious shrinkage.
