I started to research buying a pick up about 3 years ago. My main concern was value, as in bang for the buck. I bought a base model Nissan Titan for under $20K. Ford was the closest for a like optioned model at about $2K more, Chevy & Dodge were closer to $5K more. When the new Tundra came out it was about $7K more. Two & a half years later I have no regrets & no problems.
