smog requirements are going to only get more strict.
i have been (quietly) thinking about selling the 911 and buying an early bronco. i could get a 71-ish early bronco, and just shoe-horn a tune port injection motor into the thing with little fuss. no smog issues, relatively cheap, and in the end i get to satisfy my wrenching needs. once done, it would match my other hobby of bow-hunting better.
i know the bronco fairly well. my brother has a 71 that we put together. all he needs is final paint and he is good to go.
the bronco shares the same fanatical following our beloved 911's experience, so me posting up a, "wtf is this, and how do i fix it?" thread would be easy.
when my wife got laid off a few weeks ago, and announced her desire to go back to school, my multi-car hobby dreams evaporated.
thoughts? too, "onewhippedpuppy" like?
