I doubt there is much issue with mixing and matching, although I am sure the exhaust manufacturers would tell you differently. Everybody makes a slip on that fits the stock header, and the Remus header fits the stock can, so there sould be no compatability issue. I do like the fact that the remus header doesn't have the cross over pipe, and I cant begin to comment on why the others do and this one doesnt, all i know is its a great sounding and very quick system. no dyon runs to show though, and I never ran stock so i can't comment on that either, i bought it with the full Remus. if you like the rocket motor look go with the remus cans, otherwise there are other more aesthetically pleasing mufflers IMHO.
