Whats maybe a bit distorted is that as a "special" 928, more have survived from 1982 so that the percentage of Weissach's still around is growing relative to the general population of early cars. They are getting less rare over time.
Without the seats or luggage I am not sure I would treat a Weissach any differently from any other 82, except that the better the condition is the more I think the Weissachness might matter.
