I did fried rice with peas, carrots, shallots and green onions with a pound of curry shrimp all in the one pan tonight. mmmmmmm It works great as a standard frying pan also so I think it's all a guy needs
I have a tendency to overheat all my pans which is why I should be kept away from all non-stick stuff and why I was afraid of a carbon steel wok (too much cleaning when burnt).
FWIW my 5 year old told me my fried rice was "just as good as the mall's" so I guess that means I have arrived
