Hi, all. Looking to buy my first 911: a 2006 Carrera 2S. I've found a reasonably nice one at a local Porsche dealership, and the price is right. Turned in off lease, one owner, AutoCheck is clean. There's just one thing causing me concern: the odometer shows 38k miles, but when I looked at the trip computer, it was showing 81k miles/7400 hours driven.

1. Are there any issues with the trip computer that could cause it to read higher than the odometer?

2. Any other way this could be anything other than a rolled-back/replaced odometer?

Car was fairly clean, otherwise--no excessive wear on the seats, paint looked like it was in good shape other than some rock chips, on the front bumper, no obvious fluid leaks, etc.
