On Sunday 1/18/09 Colt Single Action Army serial No. 1...yes number ONE..sold at a Greg Martin Auction held here in LV for $862,500.00 out the door...it was estimated to sell for $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
In October on one of the biggest down days in US Stock Market history one of the best if not the very best Colt Walker pistol sold for $920,000.00 a record for an antique pistol. Its est was also between 500k and 1M.
All levels of the gun market seem to be at least holding their own if not selling for premiums.
