This has nothing to do with my Porsche but thought it's interesting. I was looking at my wife's Mazda's manual for this subject. It says 60,000 for cars sold in the U.S. other than California and Massachusets. For cars sold in these two states it is 105,000. Wow.
I had worked on my friends 300ZX. Its belt broke about 100,000. Working on that engine was nightmare. Hope my 924S is better than that.
I'd better start saving money and strength for the job now. I am looking at more than the belts. Front seals and maybe water pump also needs to be changed by that time.
