Today when we got to the hospital they were doing an EEG and than a CT scan. The EEG and her symptoms lead them to believe she is having seizures so they started her on another medication for them. We still haven't heard the results of the CT scan. Hopefully tomorrow. She was more still today and didn't open her eyes much. Keep your thoughts and prayers coming.

They are still trying to get the seizures under control. The neurologist had another CT Scan run and added another medication to control the seizures.

She is off the respirator all the time now.

Tomorrow the neurosurgeon is planning on taking the drain out and not putting in a permanent shunt. They are planning on moving her to either pulmonary unit or neuro-acute in a few days. This all makes me nervous as the patient to nurse ratio is 5-1. She also gets moved back to a regular bed as she has been on an air bed for most of her stay.

We are starting to research rehabilitation hospitals so if anyone has any recommendation. Our goal is to help get Jaime back into pharmacy school.

We appreciate all your posts especially from all over the world. They are a great help to us. It is amazing how connected we all are.

Please pray that Jaime gets into the Madonna Rehabilitaion Hospital in Lincoln. They have been contacted.

The drain was taken out today and Jaime finally got her hair washed! Pray that all goes well now that the drain is out. I worry about possible bleeding again.
We are told that she will be going to the Neuro-acute unit as soon as a room opens up.
Representative from Madonna Rehab Hospital will be there tomorrow to evaluate Jaime. Please pray about that. We are also looking into a few more hospitals.
