Well Guys, the day has arrived. I bought new Goodyear Blue Streaks for the Carrera.
They were very helpful at Roger Krause Racing. Thanks to Joe who works there.
Joe spent lots of time with me to be sure that we are getting the right size tires and the correct compound.
They will be delivered next Tuesday and should look just like what's in the picture.
The original Blue Streaks were 24.0 x 8.0 - 15 for the front, and 25.0 x 10.5 - 15 for the rears. They are the old tires that are being replaced.
To get almost the same tires, the fronts will be the 5.50-15 tires, and the rears will be the 6.00-15 tires.
The fronts are 1 and half inch taller and 1 and third inch wider but the rears all almost exactly the same.
I will have to accept a different tread pattern on the fronts than on the rears to get the correct size. They are "rain tires".
Goodyear no longer makes the variety of tires like they used to.
