Man, at least you didn't find some nasty coinage IN your food like I did. Money grosses me out - that stuff's been god-knows-where and is disgusting. When I used to handle cash I used to feel toxic at the end of the day.

I'd have just said "we're still figuring out what to order - take your time, no hurry" and see if he got the hint...
