IE Tech Question: Region Coding
An increasing trend on websites & YouTube is region coding which blocks content from one market into another.
For example: some Sony music video content is only available in the US. Since I reside in Canada, I get a message telling me that the content is blocked in my region. Obviously Sony Canada slams the door on US commercials that are attached to the video.
Anybody know how to reset the region coding? Or how to circumvent it? I found one script via Google but it doesn't appear to do anything.
Thanks
Ian
btw: Don't tell me to use another browser. I am not going to & I am sure that they all have or soon will have the feature . . .
