can't offer a place to stay, i'm just moving house, so i won't be settled properly in march, might be better end of may, but too soon to plan anything like that.

I can show you around the Battlefields of WW1 in Ypres(where i live, and go fast on tiny country roads)

and if you care to go to some WW2 V1/V2 sites, there is a massive one just across the border from Ypres
i'de be more then happy to drive and go along, as i've only been when i was a kid, 20+ years ago and i can't remember enough of it, so i'de wouldn't mind going again...

I work in Ghent, very good fun as well, Big midieval castle/dungeon of the count of Flanders, with torture chambers and stuff like that , despite being a living city, there's ton's of history in it, authentic unlike Bruge which is more clean a tourist attraction

Brussels , is ok, it's an aquired taste, best in Xmas period, rest of the year i find it a bit stuffy, but that's just me...
