My sister bought a house (a state out west
) and found a box hidden in the heat duct with 2 Colts - one pieced together (but still nice) WWII 45 and one
perfect series 70 Commander. She sent them to my Dad who collects. I thought I might end up with it someday as I had expressed the same sentiment as you about the series 70 45s. He sold it.
Very frustrating as I would have bought it for the $650 he got about 2 years ago.
