Yeah, I did...but I don't play for money. I know I'm a lousy pool player, which makes it awfully hard for anyone to hustle me.
Some of those playing bit parts in "the color of money" are at the Derby City classic now.
Cindy & I went to The Cue Ball in Salem today...just banging balls around...
Oh...I did "lose" a hundred...played a guy a game of 9 ball for $100. He even gave me the break, and I still lost. Yep. "lost" to my honorary nephew Matt.
He's a son of my deceased best buddy David.
He got married this year, baby on the way... I was kind of proud of my 3 ball run...before he cleared the table.
(edit)...Playing Matt, there was no gamble involved...it was just more fun than handing him the money, which I was going to do anyway.
