Rikao4 - you'd be surprised at how much abuse my dogs took, before they succumbed to the pipe. The kids even told the cops about how vicious my larger dog was. He's 1/2 rotty and 1/2 bernese mt. dog. My other dog is half sheppard and half yellow lab. She’s not the most vicious thing, but has a bark that’ll shame most purebred sheppards. I’m not trying to get into a “whose dog is a bigger bad-a$$” pissing match, just want to remind folks that if someone wants your stuff bad enough – they’ll get it.

I still count my blessings that they didn’t kill my dogs (although they came close). They had just broken into a house down the street, before hitting my house, where they had “acquired,” an AK47 and some hand guns.

I still have both dogs and have since installed a bank grade security system. Do I feel safer? Maybe a little, but knowing they weren’t deterred by the fact that my neighbor was standing across the street in the front yard, makes me think an alarm, no matter how loud, won’t stop them either.
