Maybe the P7 mag prices have come down with the guns. But last time I got some, they were $50'ish per. They hold seven rounds, so 7+1. AFAIK, no one makes aftermarket mags for them. They are super, super guns. But like all guns, they have their place and can cause problems if used outside of their place. And unless you want the cheapo neoprene Uncle Mike's holster, which is adequate, the correct holsters for P7's ain't cheap either. And these guns are heavy too. For the weight and money it takes to have one of these as a CCW gun, I just prefer a SIG. But when funds allow, I'll snag another P7 or two. They seem to defy market economics at the moment, but at some point, a very high-quality German gun that's no longer in production has to start gaining value again. Doesn't it?
BTW, I saw a P9S like Charles Kieffner's yesteday for $1250.

I don't do sigs for 2 reasons. Non-ambidextrous, and no manual safety.
My Smith (its really a 6906/5903 hand fitted hybrid) is as accurate as any sig i've ever fired, and with the porting and hogue grips the recoil is very mild, even with +P cor-bon. I've fired about 6,000rds through it, it is definitely primary gun good, i just have the itch for a P7, especially a $500.00 P7. LOL.
Is the PSP .40 S&W or 9mm? 7+1 seems low for a full length grip pistol like a P7 if it's in 9mm.
