For the money, I'd rather have a tricked out Springfield than a SIG GSR. SIG is the best at their decocker guns. But I wish they'd stick to that and leave the 1911's to the 1911 pros. I got my Springfield Mil-Spec. for $275 delivered, added $100 in custom parts and then mailed it off to Robar for fitting, night sights and refinishing. I have about $800 into it now and it's as nice as they come and, IMHO, more of a real 1911 than a SIG. However, it is pretty cool that 1911 mags are so universal in fit, whereas SIG's other lines of pistols have their own specific mags that don't fit anything else.
