If you don't want to be kept awake at night by news about bad things happening to classic cars, stop reading now.
I read somewhere in the last year or two that an original Ford GT was lost in one of those California wildfires... it was stored in a locked garage at his home, but the owner was out of town, so there was no way to save it when the fires ran through his neighborhood.
(Not this car... just a reminder of what was lost.)
