All we have for today is she sat up two times again and her pupil was more responsive today. So far we are planning on going ahead with the shunt though we still wish we wouldn't have to.
We are expecting a call from Madonna Hospital tomorrow.
Please pray the surgery goes well tomorrow afternoon, that her lungs stay clear, and that we continue to move forward.

I am told the surgery went well and I am sitting in her room in neuro acute waiting for her to come back from the recoevry room. Everything moves so slow around here!I waited with her in the pre-op room for an hour. She was looking around for about half of the time we were waiting.
Not sure yet when she will be able to go to the Madonna rehab. Maybe the end of the week.
Pray again that we continue to move forward and that she doesn't develop anymore blood clots as the heparin is turned off for awhile because of the surgery. Also include that the shunt works with no complications.

Today, Jaime was more on the sleepy side. She did look at Kurt when he came. They will restart the heparin tomorrow so I am still worried about the blood clots but they have to wait because of the surgery.
She is scheduled to go to Lincoln on Thursday by ambulance. See if we stick to this plan as things are constantly changing.
