I just finished drilling out 2 broken exhaust studs with
Christians exhaust stud tool. It took only about 1.5 to 2 hours from start to finish once I set-up, trial fit a few times and checked on my work occasionally to see how I was doing. Heat and penetrating oil!! HA!! Screw that, I was doing that for days and getting nowhere. The $150 was worth it!
I can't thank him enough! I'm very happy now.
Simple and VERY accurate. This was made by a true machinist.
This tool is SO accurate I could see the threads along the wall of the stud hole when I was done. I simply chased it with a thread tool and the new stud fit perfect!!
