My wife has found that it's quite variable. Does the nanny drive? How many kids? Live-in or not? (Live-in is less expensive, as you're providing their room and board.) In general, it may run from $10-12/hr up to $16-18/hr. You also may include the nanny in certain family activities, vacation, etc. Does the nanny work at night? If a kid wakes up at 2 in the morning, is that the nanny's responsibility, or yours? I don't know if there's a universal answer.
