I've got an idea to solve this problem. Let's create a department in the federal government who's purpose will be to assign vehicles to US citizens. Want a Porsche? Want an SUV? Want a Yugo (well, actually the Yugo would qualify for an automatic exemption to the rules)? Just fill out this 15-page form and mail it to Washington. Within 6 months, we will have your application analyzed by a career bureaucrat who will determine your needs and assign you a vehicle.
