Greetings,
While mopping up a bit of spilled oil from the area under the filler tube on my 85 911 (doh!), I noticed this sitting down next to the plug wires on the engine tray. It would appear to be a hard rubber bushing of some sort - it says "Boge" and "43204" on it.
Since it says "Boge" I'm thinking it's from the shock absorber, but does the shock actually access the engine compartment? The car doesn't seem to ride poorly, and I'm no mechanic, so any insight from you folks would be greatly appreciated. I'll definitely check in with my wrench when I get the chance, but I'm hoping to get some feedback here.
Thanks,
Jack
