The trick I have learned is that I no longer flinch at deciding a car should be parted out instead of fixed. I don't want to mess with paint or body work, and the jury is still out on how much interior work I will tolerate. Keeps me focused on what kind of projects I want to pursue, and which I pass on.
I've also been thinking about my Mustang, and which directions it might be a more suitable platform to explore than using the 928. I've been snooping a bit on ebay and craigslist, and the right deal on a 331 or 347 long block just might tempt me to swap it in the Mustang.
