I have a '89 Carrera 3.2 that has never seen salt and only rarely been driven in the rain by the P.O's. It is rust and corrosion free at the time.

I've looked into all cavities and out of the way nooks and crannies that I can get to and see. The car is like new without any rust or corrosion.

My question is that since I'm quite sure that I will be keeping this car for a long time...20+ years. Will I have any future corrosion problems? I will keep the car dry and of course it will never see salt or mud build up in the fender wells. I'm assuming that it should remain in its current pristine condition.

Rest assured that I fully intent to drive this car. In fact since I've owned it...two years now I've put 7,000 miles on it (20,300 total miles). It had only 13,313 miles when I bought it.
