Okay Mike, take it from the old man, why do you have to buy your daughter a car, espeically at the age of 16?! And to think you'd sell the real joy in your life (come on admit it). I am not going to get into how you treat your children and what a great father you are for even considering a ride for her, but the last thing you want to do in your life is to sell your 911. Even your wife see's that!
Personally, if your daughter got a part-time job and became a responsible party to ownership of a car regarding paying for her own insurance for example, you'd be surprised at the outcome for respect for the all mighty dollar down the road. Unless your daughter absolutely requires a vehicle at this point in her life, take stock in that 911 you look at every day and love to drive. You worked hard for it and its yours to enjoy. If you were my best friend, I would simply say, "you nuts" for sacrificing your car, so your 16 year old can get on the road.
